Laskoff & Associates
Robert A. Laskoff was admitted to the bar in Massachusetts and Maine in 1970 and to the U.S. District Court for Maine that same year. In 1992 he was admitted to practice before the U.S. Supreme Court in Washington, D.C.
Bob graduated in 1967 from the University of Maine in Orono with a BA in History and from the University of Maine School of Law in 1970 with a Juris Doctor (Doctor of Law) degree. He has practiced personal injury, workers’ compensation, family law and general civil litigation in the Central Maine area for over thirty years.
He is a member of the Androscoggin County, Maine State, Massachusetts and American (member of the Family Law Section) Bar Associations, the Maine Trial Lawyers Association and the American Trial Lawyers Association. He was the executive editor for the Maine Trial Lawyers Association Newsletter from 1989 to 1994 and was President of that organization in 1997-1998. At the present time he serves on the Board of Governors of the Maine Trial Lawyers Association, is a member of the Board of Visitors of the University of Maine School of Law, a fellow of the Maine Bar Foundation and vice-president of the University of Maine School of Law Foundation. In 1997 he was elected an advocate to the National College of Advocacy.
Bob resides in Lewiston, Maine with his wife, Jackie. In his spare time he enjoys fishing and traveling, and he also has an interest in art.
